Week 13: Things I'm Thankful for in Tucson

Writer's picture: Cade FisherCade Fisher

In honor of Thanksgiving, here's a list of 13 things I'm grateful for from my time in Tucson.

  1. Sun!

  2. New community (Shalom, housemates, and work)

  3. Bike safety

  4. Baking (granola, bagels, and bread)

  5. Hiking

  6. FaceTime and phone calls

  7. Letters

  8. Puzzles

  9. Swamp coolers and furnaces

  10. Warm socks

  11. Burritos and tacos

  12. Fresh oranges from the backyard

  13. Learning experiences at work

This list is not exhaustive but I'm limiting myself to 13 for time and "13 Things I'm Thankful For," is decent alliteration.

Some other things that happened this week include a Thanksgiving day hike and eating our meal outside, finishing an easier puzzle (that was also missing a piece), learning to knit, baking sour dough bread, and exploring an outdoor art market downtown Tucson.

Love the alliteration! Will you be using your bagel and sourdough skills while at home for Christmas…I hope!

Are you learning to crochet or knit?

Always good to get glimpses into your days in sunny Tucson! Thanks for the update!

Love ya!
